#playing cards

The GRID 2.0 custom playing card deck is the third project to reach Kickstarter by organizer and designer 4PM Designs. Little is known about 4PM Designs except for the fact that since June of last year his or her projects on Kickstarter have amassed over $90,000 before Amazon finally takes out their fees. The new campaign has already reached its initial goals and that will only add another feather to the cap of the mysterious individual. Who is this secretive person and why has he or she kept their identity a secret?

You know you've had dreams of jumping over Warp Tubes or saving the Princess from Bowser so why not give in a little and discover a platformer that asks the all important question: Was the Princess ever in the right castle? This week we'll discover a new season to a highly successful zombie board game, visit a Steampunk/Cthulhu playing card mashup that would make H.P. What If I gave you 12 days to make $20,000 dollars? Too easy? How 'bout 18 days to come up with $378,000? I can’t actually think of much better so I’m going to just categorize that as a rhetorical question and move on. Most of these projects will be successful with two of them already funded, you won’t have to worry about supporting a project that never gets off the ground. We’ve got a nice collection of hardware, tabletop games, playing cards and video games here so there’s sure to be something for everyone.

kickstarterknuggetsI’m now filled with equal parts love and hate for Kickstarter. If not for this dastardly crowdfunding site I would have never known about the myriad of ways my money could disappear right before my eyes. Conversely so many great ideas are getting the venue they need to achieve a bit of traction, if not for Kickstarter some of these projects would languish, fail or be turned away by producers. Another week has passed and wouldn’t you know it I have some stuff to talk to you about concerning Kickstarter Knuggets.
